みなさんへ

前のエントリーでお話しした通り、春にブログのイベントを計画しているので、今日はちょっとそれについて書かせてください。

3月に東京で、ブログのオフ会（ディナーパーティー）を企画しています。　この間、Davidにイベントについて相談したのですが、Davidも参加してくれるそうです！　なので、イベントに参加できる方は、Davidにも会えますよ～！　もちろんこのイベントは、いつものレギュラーだけでなく、誰でも参加できるものです。　新しい人たちにもたくさん参加してもらいたいな、と思っています。
心配しなくても大丈夫です。　このイベントは、皆さんともっと知り合うためで、‘英語を話さないといけない’というものではありません（Davidは日本語ペラペラだし）。　でも英語に挑戦したいという方は遠慮なくそうして下さい。　きっといい機会だと思います。

では、イベントの詳細です。

『第一回　デビッド・バーカーの英語と仲直りブログ　ディナーパーティー』

日時：　3月21日（土）
時間：　午後6時～8時
場所：　東京のホテル（場所はメールでお伝えします）
費用：　7,500円（会場・食事・ドリンク・サービス・税込）

パーティー会場は、現在、仮予約をしてあります（2時間）。　10人位（最少でも8人位）集まると、その会場が使えるのですが、15人以上になれば、立食パーティーにできます。　本予約をするために、参加人数が知りたいので、参加希望の方は、下記のメールアドレスにお名前を添えて連絡してください(ブログでの名前がある方はそれもお願いします）。　ホテルのホームページのリンクと一緒に、折り返しメールをさせて頂きます。
*このメールはイベント専用のものですが、届くのは私宛です。

会場を本予約する関係で、1月19日（月）までに連絡を頂けるとありがたいです。
もし、当日そのホテルに宿泊希望の方は、その旨もメールに書いて連絡してください。　イベントを開催する関係で、宿泊料を少し優遇してもらえます。（ただこの特典は、会場を利用する場合なので、参加人数によってはなくなる場合もあります）　それから、3月21日は3連休の真ん中なので、宿泊予約は早めにした方がいいと思います。

何か質問などがありましたら、上記のアドレスにメールして下さい。　イベントの詳細は私のブログにも掲載します。　そこにはメルアドのリンクもあるので、そちらからの方が連絡しやすいかもしれません。（私のブログには、下の名前のリンクをクリックすると行けます）

I really want to go to the event, but I can't go there because I have a concert of my students on the next day. I live in Kanazawa, so if I go there, I can't come back on the same day. I'm so sorry I can't see you. I'm looking forward to hearing the event's story.

先ほど、ホテルの方へ確認したところ、当日ホテルに宿泊希望の方は、私が窓口になって予約をしないと、宿泊料の優遇が受けられません。　なので、宿泊希望の方は、

Hi everyone,
I had a making rice cake event of my community, and it was a grand meeting. There were a lot of people gathered and enjoyed drinking sake, tea, eating pork miso soup, hot rice cake with grated radish, sweet beans paste, beans flour and shoyu-taste.
This is said 'A New Year's bonfire', and it is performed nationwide in Japan. The inhabitants put their own New Year's decoratins in an open-air-fire and pray something while warming their hands at the fire.
Before two years, I experienced the making rice cake, but mallet was so heavy for me, that I stopped doing it a few times.

I found this blog last month when I was looking for some online materials to study English. I've just finished reading through all the entries and comments quickly though it took more than one month.

I realized lots of aspects of English and even Japanese language from this blog. And I'm so impressed with Tomo whose writing skill has been incredibly improving! So I found it very useful to join you all here and write a comment to learn more natural English.

みなさま、朗報です♪　とりあえず、会場を押さえることが出来ました！　現時点での参加予定の方は、Anne、Maki、Lily、amo、Appoh、Kiyoko、それにDavidと私です。(Kazuはお仕事が入らなければ参加OKということです)

今後の流れですが・・
パーティー費は私が一括で支払うことになっているので、当日お金のやり取りをしなくて済むように、後日振込みでお願いしようと思っています。　振込先などの連絡は2月中旬頃にメールにてお知らせしますね。

とりあえず、会場を押さえられたのでホッとしています。　あ、でも今のところは最少人数の8人なので、参加希望してくれた方、キャンセルしないで下さいね～、また眠れなくなっちゃうので(笑)
できればもう少し参加してくれる方が増えて、立食スタイルにできたらなぁ、と思っています。　このイベントは、皆さんとたくさん話してお近づきになることが目的なので、椅子に座ってお食事よりも、自由に歩き回れた方がいろんな人と話しやすいかな・・と思うので。
