Back to the Real World
I am back in Seto now, and I actually have classes this afternoon! I haven't taught since July, so it will feel a bit strange to be working again. I'm looking forward to seeing the students, though.
Tomo - sorry to do another entry and cut off your birthday messages. I tried to post a "happy birthday" comment last night, but it was rejected :-( Anyway, I hope you are having a great day. I must remember to call Matilda tonight as well.
I have had a nice long summer holiday, but it is time to get back to regular life now, so I will do another proper entry on Monday. If you are all ready, we can go back to the old system of discussing a topic and then making corrections on Friday.
I hope no one has been affected too badly by the typhoon (What on earth has Japan done to make the gods so angry this year!?), and I'll be looking forward to reading your comments on the new topic next week.

It seems that the summer has gone with the typhoon and the autumn has suddenly arrived. I hope this climate without air conditioners or heaters will last as long as possible. I'm looking forward to the next topic on Monday. Talk to you soon.

You must miss days at your hometown.
I like your old system of discussing a topic,then give us a answer/correction.
I think it is a good way to improve our English and have a chance to organise our thought.

I just read an article saying that AU are going to get the new iPhone 5 in January. I hope that is true!
Also, a friend of mine just told me about an app called "Viber." If you download it to your smartphone, you can make calls to other people who have it on their phones for free. It's like Skype, but you can just call the regular cell phone number. Is anyone already using it?

How is your three-day weekend? I went for a drink with some friends from work. We had a good time and a lot of drinks, so we missed the last train. I ended up taking a taxi to go home.

How are you doing?
Are you having a great holiday? The typhoon left, it feels like the REAL autumn has come.
I went to see English Rakugo by 桂三輝 and an amature comic storyteller yesterday. Katsura Sunshine is the 15th apprentice of 桂三枝.
It was a lot of fun and it feels like my wrinkle became deeper!
In the daytime, there was a show for children. I'm not familiar with the recent situation at school, but do students learn English Rakugo at school?

It seems that both of you had a great time. I'm happy for you. As for eigo-rakugo, I heard that some kids in Kansai area are very keen on practicing it outside school and they performed in Canada this summer.

I dont favour the constitution and would rather no power is given to politicians. Authority does NOT come from anything not even the constitution, it comes from CONSENT.
